HEART 9/11 will host an international online symposium bringing together U.S. and Dutch perspectives on stress, resilience, and adaptive strategies in high-risk professions.

Participating Dutch organizations include: VerzuimConsult, Reveal, VU University (MentaalFit Project), and the Dutch Fire Department.

Dutch speakers will respond from their own professional perspectives, sharing how similar themes emerge across occupational health, academic research, first responder environments, and mental health initiatives in the Netherlands. Together, speakers will explore shared challenges, evidence-based approaches, and opportunities for cross-border learning and collaboration.
